Hypothetical example for Ridgeline Plumbing, a four-truck residential service company.

Ridgeline Plumbing is hiring a full-time Plumber for residential service calls (Monday to Friday, with one weekend on-call a month). You'll diagnose and repair leaks, water heaters and drain problems, give customers a written estimate before starting and keep your truck stocked. We provide the truck and tools.

Notice what makes it work: real hours, the actual tools, who they report to, and one honest reason to want the job. That’s the difference between a blank template and a job description that gets the right applicants.
